Dictionary of Online Behavior is a collection of new words that describe behaviors emerged on social networks. Building on words like "selfie" and "FOMO" we coined a new set of expressions that give a fresh perspective on our reality that consists both of offline and online lives intertwined. The use of social networks has created a new set of phenomena, adding a layer to our relationships and to the perception of the world around us.
Dictionary of Online Behavior was generously supported by AFK and Stimuleringsfonds. It was exhibited at many design/tech festivals and museums worldwide and nominated for Lumen Prize 2018.
The project consists of the website which introduces new terms needed for communication in the world of social media
Each term is presented through explanation and suggestions for use, but is also illustrated through a format that is a symbol of digital culture - short loopable animations
