Bananza! is a VR project made for Media Lab at Cinekid Festival in Amsterdam. Bananza! is a VR ride that explores growing up in a digital age. It is a journey through environments inspired by mediums and actions that are a norm in today’s child’s life such as gaming, Google searching or expressing oneself through emojis.

The project won Cinekid Golden Lion Audience Award. Furthermore, the project won Honourable mention at Online VR Festival by Kaleidoscope x InceptionVR.

The symbols of a digital culture such as notifications, emojis, Candy Crush game are all incorporated through bananas, a favourite fruit for both kids and grownups.
