Web Experience
The Fortune Teller is an interactive web experience made for the Cinekid Media Lab 2020. The storyline is about sustainability, with a clear message that our choices affect the future of the planet.
Upon visiting the website, the visitor is greeted by a tarot fortune teller, a personification of Mother Earth. She promises to predict the future of the visitor, but only after getting to know the visitor a bit better. She introduces them to several games. In these games, they are asked to make choices - some choices are more ecological than the others. In the background, the points are calculated. Moreover, the experience is a couple of times interrupted by the villain character - an evil Consumerist, who urges the player to buy more non-ecological items. At the end of the experience, Mother Earth Fortune Teller gives a prediction of the future of the planet, based on consumer behavior and the points collected. The player gets one of the four characters: "The Environmentalist", "The Trash Hero", "A Human" and "The Unaware".

The second character is interrupting the Mother Earth's narrative by constantly offering the player to buy something.
The two characters are opposites. The Fortuneteller narrates and moderates the games with a few educational messages, while the Consumerist interrupts and makes the story non-linear.
